Production finance

Programmes for a season's production, offered and funded by approved Finance Partners.

Each programme is offered and funded by an approved Finance Partner, on its own terms. AgriMarket is not the lender: it provides the programme, application, monitoring and record-keeping tools. Being approved to offer finance is not the same as Trust Verification.

I need finance

  1. 1Browse the open programmes below and read what each one funds.
  2. 2Check the programme’s eligibility and its published terms.
  3. 3Sign in to apply — applying needs an AgriMarket account.
  4. 4The Finance Partner reviews your application and decides.
  5. 5If they offer you finance, you read the terms and accept before anything is drawn.

Applying is not a guarantee of finance, and programmes differ — each Finance Partner sets its own terms, eligibility and finance model. A programme’s terms say what is to be repaid: nothing, where the finance is sponsored; otherwise the finance actually provided to you, with or without an agreed percentage on top. You see them in full before you apply.

I provide finance

Organisations that finance agricultural production can apply to become Finance Partners. AgriMarket reviews each organisation and its supporting evidence before it can open a programme.

  1. 1Sign in to your AgriMarket account.
  2. 2Apply for the Finance capability from your capabilities page.
  3. 3Select the organisation that will hold it, or name a new one.
  4. 4AgriMarket reviews the application and decides.
  5. 5Once approved, create and open programmes from your Finance Partner workspace.

Finance is held by an organisation, not a person, and approval is a decision AgriMarket makes. It is not Trust Verification and not a subscription.

How money moves

  • Finance Partners fund producers directly.
  • AgriMarket does not hold, release or collect Production Finance money.
  • Approval of an application is not a release of funds.
  • Selling financed produce on AgriMarket does not by itself repay a Finance Partner. A repayment counts only when it is recorded by the Finance Partner and confirmed by the producer.
  • No return is guaranteed to anyone.
